Stephen Livens leads Horizon Engage’s work in the decarbonization arena in the Asia-Pacific region. He is a government relations specialist with extensive government, policy, research and regulatory experience within the energy and decarbonization sector, as well as a strong track record working with Australian and international companies.
He has a 25-year history of providing advisory, research, government engagement and consulting services to Australian and international energy companies with a particular focus on energy transition developments and opportunities.
In his career he is known as being commercially astute with an insightful approach to analyzing and distilling complex matters into clear messages for delivery to political and departmental representatives and has been instrumental in providing strategic direction and advice in the development of policy positions and engagement strategies with an eye on the short, medium and long-term interests of those companies.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Economics from Deakin University.
