MIKE’s story
Mike Davies is Horizon Engage’s Senior Advisor on South Africa and Namibia. Mike has provided clients with analysis of the political and regulatory environment in Southern Africa for over 20 years. In recent years, this work has increasingly focused on the dynamics around the energy transition as South Africa looks to shift away from its reliance on coal.
Prior to moving back to South Africa, Mike worked for several London-based risk consultancies. Mike has an MA in International Relations from the University of Warwick and a degree in economics from the University of Cape Town.
