ALEXANDER’S story
Alexander (Sasha) is one of two cofounders of Horizon Engage, establishing the company in 2003.
He coordinates global research for Horizon Engage’s clients. His research specialization is energy politics in Russia and the former Soviet Union. Before Horizon Engage, Alexander worked as head of research at Eurasia Group in New York and in corporate finance at SBC Warburg in London.
Alexander received a B.A. degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and a Ph.D. in International Relations from Oxford University. He is an author of Power, Personalities and Political Risk: Inside Russia’s Oil and Gas Industry (London, Euromoney Books).
